Ian McHugh

Ian is a consultant and trainer with over 20 years experience of voluntary sector management, social policy, equality & diversity and community development. His previous roles include Equality & Diversity Manager at NWDA, Director of Voluntary Action Manchester, and Director of East Lancs Together, the Home Office community cohesion pathfinder for Burnley and district. Ian is currently chair of the Manchester CofE Diocese Equalities Task Group and Secretary of Bolton Against Racism. Ian has an MA in Industrial Relations, a Diploma in Management Studies and is especially interested in questions of cultural identity and dialogue between cultures.
