Lilian Barton
Lilian is a recognised strategic and creative marketing consultant with over twenty years experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. With keen marketing knowledge, achievements and successes she is at the forefront of marketing thinking giving strategic direction to marketing, communications, service delivery and partnership building. Her project won runner-up awards at the national E-government Awards 2005 and Good Communications Awards 2006. Among her many roles she has served on the UK Government’s E-citizen board and on a Department of Health reference group. She has also worked in Hong Kong, Hungary and has had several international clients.
Lilian is a Chartered Marketer and a Fellow of the RSA, an associate lecturer in Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School and industry guest lecturer at Manchester University’s Business School. She’s also a member of the BSI Consumer and Public Interest group – DERG. In addition she is a trustee at People’s Voice Media and Breakthrough UK.
