New report launched into Women on Boards
Yesterday saw Lord Davies launch his long awaited review into Women on Boards along with his recommendations to enact change and encourage greater board diversity in the FTSE 100 and 350 companies.
Big British companies have been warned to double the number of women in boardrooms within five years or face government sanction.
According to the Equality and Human Rights Commission;
"At the current rate of change, it will take 73 years for women to achieve equal representation"
