Women's Leadership Survey
300 responses in the North West
Over 300 people from across the North West responded to Infrastruct’s Women’s Leadership Survey, which was launched in Manchester on International Women’s Day.
A better gender balance at the top of organisations would be more representative – not just of individual workplaces, many of which are female dominated at lower levels, but of the region as a whole. One person said that we need to break out of the traditional Northern male stereotype which still dominates boards and Councils. One of the male respondents felt that better female representation would more appropriately reflect the history of the North West.
