Women and Work Task Force - Meeting at the House of Commons

Following the release of the Women and Work Task Force report, Esther McVey MP convened a meeting for business leaders on 15th December at Westminster to draw attention to the lack of women represented on the Local Enterprise Partnership boards currently being formed.

"This is interesting! I think the main thing is to keep the issue permanently in mind and seek 50/50 representation. Also seek men and women who take a critical perspective on inclusion and gender and are keen to change corporate cultures of overwork!"

Janet Batsleer, Head of Youth and Community Work, Manchester Metropolitan University
