Below is a brief description of some of the projects we have delivered within the last 3 months to give you a flavour of our range of expertise.

PROJECT

North West Regional Development Agency (NWDA)

 

North West Women and Work Task Force.  Infrastruct has been appointed as the secretariat for this Task Force, comprising leaders from business, government and third sector.  Its remit is to consider regional evidence about women’s leadership position in the region and to devise recommendations for incorporation into the forthcoming Regional Strategy (RS2010)

West Yorkshire Local Authorities

Equality mentoring project for five local authorities in West Yorkshire.  Infrastruct has recruited and trained 18 pairs of mentors and mentees, and continues to support them through their ‘learning journey’ until January 2011.

Standards for England

Infrastruct has helped SfE to review and refresh its Single Equality Scheme.  We have followed this up with bespoke advice and training for managers in conducting equality impact assessments.

Government Office North West

 

We delivered a briefing for staff on the implications of the Equality Bill (now Equality Act), followed by equality impact assessment training for forty managers.

NHS Liverpool

 

Equality and Diversity training workshop for all staff in the commissioning function, followed by trainer training to build ongoing capacity.

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing

Middle Management Development Programme.  The third course started in April 2010 with 12 participants starting on their six-month programme of training workshops, action learning and group projects.

BikeRight!

Coaching and support for Investors in People assessment – successfully achieved in March 2010.

NHS Employers

Using our experience with the Equality Framework for Local Government, we were commissioned to consult with NHS organisations and develop a draft Equality Framework for the NHS. The draft was presented to a consultation workshop of 50 people from around the country, and now awaits consideration by the NHS Equality and Diversity Council.
